WPL 2025: Stacy-Ann King Critiques Gujarat Giants’ Batting In Loss To Mumbai Indians

She pointed out that the team’s aggressive approach, especially after losing early wickets, hurt them. “They were a bit too aggressive too early, and after losing the openers, they didn’t build partnerships,” King said. She emphasized the need for better starts and middle-order contributions to set a competitive total. “They’ve got the bowling, but they need to focus on their batting to post a defendable total.”
