In the much-anticipated film ‘Bad Newz,’ Vicky Kaushal showcases his dance moves to the Punjabi beats of singer-composer Karan Aujla’s track ‘Tauba Tauba.’ Following the hilarious trailer, Vicky recently gave fans a sneak peek of the song with a teaser video.

In the video, Vicky Kaushal is seen dancing energetically to ‘Tauba Tauba.’ Sharing the video on social media, he excitedly wrote, “#TaubaTauba…hum aa gaye! Our 1st SONG OUT TOMORROW! Let’s go AUJLA!!! #BadNewz in cinemas on 19th July.” The song ‘Tauba Tauba’ will be officially released on July 2, featuring Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri.

The teaser video quickly drew attention, with fans flooding the comment section. Vicky’s brother, actor Sunny Kaushal, was among the first to respond, commenting, “Oh ho! Oh ho! Fire.” Karan Aujla, the voice behind the song, added, “Ye yeeeeee tauba tauba.” Another enthusiastic fan commented, “OKAY SO WE GONNA GET THE ANOTHER BIGGEST COLLAB OF THE YEAR ‘VICKY KAUSHAL X KARAN AUJLA.'” Another fan remarked, “We finally got Vicky ft. Karan Aujla.”

Vicky Kaushal’s previous videos dancing to Karan Aujla’s ‘Softly’ had already captivated fans. The recent release of the ‘Bad Newz’ trailer by Dharma Productions promises a comedic and chaotic ride. The film diverges from typical rom-com narratives, exploring the complex and humorous scenario of heteropaternal superfecundation—two fathers, one mother, and a single pregnancy.

The trailer features Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk, portraying two men on different paths to fatherhood, with Triptii Dimri caught in the whirlwind. The film also stars Neha Dhupia. The trailer hints at a series of comical misunderstandings, awkward moments, and engaging chemistry among the lead trio. Scenes of hospital mix-ups and awkward family dinners provide a glimpse of the laughter-filled journey.

A remix of the 1998 hit ‘Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam’ from the film ‘Duplicate,’ starring Shah Rukh Khan, Juhi Chawla, and Sonali Bendre, adds a nostalgic touch to the trailer. Vicky Kaushal’s character is seen grappling with his new reality, while Ammy Virk infuses humor into the story, and Triptii Dimri portrays a determined yet confused woman at the heart of the chaos.

Directed by Anand Tiwari, ‘Bad Newz’ is a spiritual successor to the 2019 hit ‘Good Newwz,’ which starred Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Kiara Advani, and Diljit Dosanjh. Co-produced by Tiwari, Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Amritpal Singh Bindra, the film is scripted by Ishita Moitra and Tarun Dudeja. ‘Bad Newz’ is set to hit theaters on July 19, promising an emotional rollercoaster with plenty of humor.
