In her tweet, the woman explained that she received the information from a friend who was staying at the same hotel as Payne. She wrote: “Mutual friend is in Argentina at the same hotel as Liam Payne and she said he just jumped off his balcony???? There are ambulances everywhere and things are nuts. I sincerely hope he’s okay if this actually happened. Holy smokes dude!!!”

However, the woman quickly clarified that she had no official confirmation and was merely relaying what she had been told, saying, “I didn’t think it would leave my circle.
