Arnold Schwarzenegger, Chris Pratt & Others React To Charlie Kirk Death

The assassination of conservative activist and Donald Trump ally Charlie Kirk has sent shockwaves through the United States, prompting a rare bipartisan outpouring of grief. Celebrities from Jimmy Kimmel to Arnold Schwarzenegger have publicly condemned the act, calling for an end to political violence.

September 11, 2025: On Wednesday, during an event at Utah Valley University, conservative activist Charlie Kirk was killed in a stunning act of political violence. Turning Point USA’s 31-year-old co-founder and close ally of Donald Trump was shot in the neck while speaking at a “Prove Me Wrong” event as part of his “American Comeback Tour.” He died right away. The event has shocked people all around the United States, and many politicians and Hollywood stars have spoken out against it.

There is a multi-agency manhunt for the shooter, who is still on the run after the assassination that happened in front of thousands of people. The FBI soon took back its first reporting of an arrest and said that the person who had been arrested had been let go after being questioned. Authorities think the one shot came from a nearby building and have called the event a “targeted attack.”

People in Hollywood from all political parties have spoken out against the violence.

Jimmy Kimmel, a late-night host who is known for being critical of Trump, used Instagram to urge for compassion. “Can we just agree that it’s horrible and monstrous to shoot another person for one day?” he said, sending his condolences to the Kirk family and other victims of gun violence.

Actor Arnold Schwarzenegger called the murder a “horrible tragedy” on X and said, “Politics has become a disease in this country, and it’s deadly.” He told Americans to “walk back from the extremes” and remember what it means to be human.

Chris Pratt, an outspoken Christian actor, sent a more serious message: “Praying for Charlie Kirk right now, for his wife and young children, and for our country.” God’s grace is what we need.

Donald Trump was the first to say that Kirk had been killed. He hailed him a “tremendous person” and told people to fly American flags at half-staff. Other political heavyweights, such as Vice President J.D. Vance and California Governor Gavin Newsom, also spoke out against what happened.dona

As the search for the person who did this goes on, several agencies are working together on the inquiry. These include the Orem Police Department, the university’s police force, the FBI, and the Utah Department of Public Safety.
