Tel Aviv railway hit as Iran ramps up strikes; casualties rise in 10 countries
March 18, 2026: As the conflict enters its 19th day, the scale of destruction continues to intensify across multiple countries, with rising casualties and expanding strike zones. The highest toll has been reported in Iran with 1,444 deaths, followed by Lebanon at 912. Fatalities have also been recorded in Israel (17), United States (13), Iraq (29), United Arab Emirates (8), Kuwait (6), Qatar (4), Oman (3), and both Saudi Arabia and Bahrain (2 each).
Iran has intensified its missile offensive on Israel, with Tel Aviv emerging as a primary target. A major strike hit the Greater Tel Aviv railway station, causing severe damage and halting train services. Visuals from the scene showed destroyed infrastructure, halted trains, and widespread panic among commuters.
In response, Israeli forces have ramped up security deployments and stationed troops across key locations. Missile defence systems intercepted several incoming threats over Tel Aviv, preventing further damage.
Fresh strikes were also reported in Kafr Qasim, where explosions and fires triggered chaos among civilians. With casualties mounting and attacks intensifying across borders, the conflict shows no signs of easing, raising fears of a prolonged and wider regional crisis.
