From Italy to India: Shocking Incidents Leave Many Stunned
Robbery attempt, animal attacks, freak accidents and timely rescues spark concern and relief
February 10, 2026: A string of startling incidents from across India and abroad has grabbed attention, highlighting both moments of danger and swift rescue. In Italy, masked criminals attempted a dramatic, Hollywood-style cash van robbery on a highway. The attackers reportedly used explosives to blow up a vehicle and opened fire with AK-47 rifles to block pursuing police. Despite the heavy firepower, they failed to breach the cash van and ultimately fled, leaving behind scenes of chaos but no confirmed loot.
Back in India, fear and panic unfolded in multiple cities. In Maharashtra’s Dombivli, a seven-year-old schoolgirl narrowly escaped a terrifying attack by a pack of stray dogs, an incident caught on CCTV that showed the child running desperately before hiding between parked cars. In Bihar’s Bhagalpur, a truck struck overhead power lines, triggering massive sparks and a fire that engulfed the vehicle, though the driver managed to escape unhurt.
Other incidents added to the shock. In Pune, a bull ran amok near a temple, causing chaos among devotees, while in Bilaspur, a drunk man was rescued after getting trapped inside a drain chamber. In Lucknow, quick police action proved lifesaving when officers rescued an 80-year-old man found unconscious inside a locked fourth-floor flat. Together, these incidents underline growing safety concerns, while also highlighting the importance of alert citizens and timely intervention.
