Tel Aviv [Israel], January 10: Israel endured 18,365 terror attacks in 2024, marking a tumultuous year defined by multi-front conflict and escalating violence. The data, compiled by the National Public Diplomacy annual summary report on terrorism, highlighted attacks from seven fronts, including Iran, Lebanon, Syria, Gaza, Iraq, Yemen, and internal threats.
The attacks resulted in 134 fatalities and 1,277 injuries, underscoring the ongoing challenges to Israel’s national security.
Of the total incidents, rocket fire accounted for the majority, with 16,400 rockets launched into Israeli territory, killing 55 people. 93% of these rockets originated from Lebanon, demonstrating the region’s role as the epicenter of hostility.
Hostile drone incursions also surged, with 399 drones crossing into Israel, causing 71 deaths, including 14 minors, and 892 injuries. Fires ignited by these attacks devastated over 92,000 acres of protected lands and 42,000 acres of grazing areas.

The report identified October 2024 as the most violent month, witnessing over 6,900 rocket launches, 37 murders, and 394 injuries. In contrast, November recorded the fewest incidents, with just 109 attacks.
