In a post on X, the military described the warning as a “proactive alert” aimed at preparing the public for the possibility of missiles being launched towards the State of Israel. Authorities urged citizens to remain close to shelters and secure areas until further notice, underscoring the seriousness of the security situation.
Meanwhile, an explosion was reported in Tehran on Saturday, with witnesses saying a blast was heard in the capital. There was no immediate comment from Iranian authorities on the cause.
