Fans in India eagerly awaiting Kanye West’s live performance will have to wait a little longer as the rapper’s debut concert in the country has been postponed. Originally scheduled for March 29, the show will now take place on May 23, 2026. Organisers cited “prevailing geopolitical situation and regional tensions” as the reason for the delay. All previously purchased tickets remain valid for the rescheduled date.
The Delhi concert, set to be held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, marks Kanye West’s first-ever performance in India and is expected to attract thousands of fans. Despite speculation about potential additional shows in other cities, this remains the only confirmed performance at present.
Rumours about the postponement had circulated online, with some fans linking it to geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. Others speculated the delay could coincide with the release of Kanye’s long-awaited album Bully, scheduled for March 27, just days before the original concert date.
The new date provides fans extra time to prepare for the much-anticipated event, and excitement continues to build ahead of Ye’s Indian debut.
