Despite O’Neal’s pessimism, Thompson, a four-time NBA champion and now with the Dallas Mavericks, made his public debut with Megan Thee Stallion last Wednesday at the Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala in New York. “I have never dated somebody so kind,” Megan told Page Six. The gala in New York last Wednesday was particularly significant for Megan Thee Stallion, as it was held in honor of her late parents, Joseph Pete III and Holly Thomas, whose memory inspired her to establish the Pete & Thomas Foundation. The foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to “uplifting and assisting women, children, senior citizens and underserved communities in Houston, Texas and across the world.”
