Known for his strong stance on China and military experience as a former Army Green Beret, Waltz will be a key figure in Trump’s administration, responsible for advising on national security and coordinating with multiple agencies.

Waltz has previously voiced the need for the U.S. to prepare for potential conflicts in the Asia-Pacific region, particularly regarding Chinese activity.
