American forces destroy Iranian vessels in Strait of Hormuz as missile strikes intensify

March 11, 2026: The conflict between the United States and Iran entered its 12th day with fresh military action in the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most important oil shipping routes. According to reports, US forces destroyed at least 16 Iranian vessels suspected of laying naval mines in the strait.
