
WATCH: Harrowing Footage Shows Russian Plane Engulfed in Fire During Deadly Crash
July 24, 2025: On Thursday, an An-24 passenger russian plane crashed, killing all 49 persons on board, five of whom were children. People say that the Angara airline plane, which is based in Siberia, caught fire after it landed. People have put up scary videos of the occurrence online.
A 17-second footage from state television news RT shows the plane landing in a lot of smoke and dust. Sources report that the fuselage was on fire. The wreckage was recovered in the Amur area.
Vasily Orlov, the governor of the Amur area, claimed on Telegram that the Antonov-24 plane fell off the radar as it came close to Tynda, a town in the Amur region that is next to China. The flight began in Blagoveshchensk. Reports from the beginning indicated there were 43 passengers and six crew members on board.
The officials are looking into what caused the crash. The major focus will be to look into the landing conditions and any technical issues or other factors that may have caused the regrettable accident as additional information becomes available.
