Badshah Ends Decade-Long Feud with Honey Singh

Published:

In a surprising turn of events, singer-rapper Badshah publicly resolved his decade-long feud with fellow artist Honey Singh during a concert in Dehradun.

The reconciliation took place during GraFest 2024, where Badshah halted his performance midway to express his desire to let go of the feud.

Acknowledging the past animosity, Badshah stated, “There was a phase in my life where I held this grudge against one, and now I want to call it quits and leave that grudge behind – and that’s Honey Singh.” He further added, “I was unhappy because of some misunderstanding but then I realised when we were together, ‘jodne waale bahut kam the, todneh waale bahut the’. Today, I just want to let everyone know I’ve left that phase behind and I wish him all the best.”

Badshah and Honey Singh, both esteemed rappers in India, had initially started their careers together as part of the rap group Mafia Mundeer, alongside Ikka, Lil Golu, and Raftaar. The band produced several popular tracks, including ‘Khol Botal,’ ‘Begani Naar Buri,’ and ‘Delhi Ke Deewane.’

Despite their shared success, a public fallout led to the dissolution of their partnership, resulting in frequent exchanges of jabs on social media. However, Badshah’s public gesture marks a significant step towards reconciliation between the two influential artists in the Indian music industry.
