The BMW F 450 GS arrives in three distinct flavors to suit different riding styles. The base variant starts at ₹4.70 lakh, while the mid-spec Exclusive trim costs ₹4.90 lakh. For those seeking the ultimate off-road experience, the range-topping GS Trophy variant is priced at ₹5.30 lakh. All these figures are ex-showroom, and the bike is proudly manufactured right here in India through BMW’s partnership with TVS.

The New 420cc Parallel-Twin Engine

At the center of the BMW F 450 GS is an all-new 420cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine. This motor delivers a healthy 48 hp at 8,750 rpm and 43 Nm of torque at 6,750 rpm. Because it uses a 270-degree crank, the engine promises a characterful exhaust note and strong low-end grunt. Moreover, a six-speed gearbox manages the power, ensuring smooth shifts whether you are on the highway or a dirt trail.

Underneath its aggressive bodywork, the BMW F 450 GS features a sturdy steel trellis frame. The suspension setup includes a premium USD fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear. While the first two variants roll on stylish alloy wheels, the GS Trophy version stands out with tubeless wire-spoke wheels, which are better suited for rugged terrain.

Advanced Features and Ride Technology

BMW has packed the BMW F 450 GS with modern electronics to keep riders safe and engaged. You get all-LED lighting and a crisp 6.5-inch TFT display that connects to your smartphone via Bluetooth. Furthermore, the bike offers multiple ride modes: Rain, Road, and Enduro. If you choose the higher trims, you even get an “Enduro Pro” mode for more technical off-road sessions.

The bike also comes with a bi-directional quickshifter, which is standard on the Exclusive and GS Trophy models. On the top-spec Trophy variant, you even get adjustable suspension and the “Easy Ride Clutch” system. This innovative clutch makes stop-and-go traffic much easier to handle without tiring out your left hand.

Rider Aids for Maximum Control

Safety is a priority for the BMW F 450 GS, especially for those new to adventure riding. The bike features cornering traction control and ABS Pro, which allows for safer braking even while leaning into a turn. Additionally, Dynamic Brake Control helps stabilize the motorcycle during emergency stops.
