Petrol, diesel and CNG prices remained unchanged across major Indian cities on Monday, June 29, 2026. Fuel prices continue to be revised daily by oil marketing companies (OMCs) and city gas distributors, although no changes were announced for the day.
Among the major cities, Hyderabad continued to record the highest petrol price at Rs 115.69 per litre, followed by Thiruvananthapuram at Rs 115.49 per litre. Chandigarh remained the cheapest city for petrol, where the fuel was priced at Rs 98.10 per litre.
For diesel, Thiruvananthapuram topped the list with a price of Rs 104.40 per litre, while Hyderabad followed at Rs 103.82 per litre. Chandigarh once again offered the lowest diesel price at Rs 86.09 per litre.
In the CNG segment, Hyderabad reported the highest rate among the listed cities at Rs 97 per kg. New Delhi continued to have one of the lowest CNG prices at Rs 83.09 per kg, while Mumbai stood at Rs 86 per kg.
Fuel prices remain elevated after oil marketing companies recently increased petrol and diesel rates by around Rs 7.5 per litre amid higher global crude oil prices linked to geopolitical tensions in West Asia.
The government has also revised export duties on petroleum products in its latest fortnightly review. The export duty on diesel has been increased to Rs 14 per litre from Rs 13.5 per litre, while aviation turbine fuel (ATF) now attracts an export duty of Rs 12.5 per litre, up from Rs 9.5 per litre. The export duty on petrol remains unchanged at Rs 1.5 per litre.
Meanwhile, domestic LPG prices were increased by Rs 29 earlier this month, taking the price of a standard 14.2-kg cylinder in Delhi to Rs 942. Commercial LPG cylinder prices and CNG rates in select cities have also witnessed recent hikes.
