July 31, 2025: He hasn’t talked about the company every day, but his latest statements show that he really believes in Broadcom Inc. (NASDAQ: AVGO), which he calls one of his favorite companies in the chip sector. He says that the company’s ability to create chips that can assist fill the gap left by NVIDIA’s AI GPUs is a big reason for its success. “Today, the chips that are related to AI are on fire,” Cramer added, pointing to how well Broadcom stock is doing. “The stock market is reacting very well to things, but there are people who don’t want to react to it or think those points aren’t worth anything.” I think they are nuts. “We’re having a good rally.”
Cramer says that the company’s CEO, Hock Tan, is an underrated force in the business and that he is a big part of its success. He called Tan a “tough guy” and a “fantastic job” creator, and he said that the CEO’s hard work is mostly to blame for the stock’s amazing 92% rise this year. Cramer’s own charitable trust owns the shares. He made this choice after seeing Tan in person and seeing how much promise he has.
