Despite heavy rains lashing Mumbai, members of the Ambani family arrived at Aamir’s Bandra residence to be a part of the celebrations, making a grand entry with a high-security convoy that quickly caught the attention of paparazzi and fans.
Videos circulating on social media showed the Ambani family reaching the venue amid tight security. Acclaimed filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker, who directed Aamir Khan in the iconic film Lagaan, was among the first guests to arrive. He was accompanied by his wife, Sunita Gowariker. Ashutosh opted for a classic white bandhgala, while Sunita looked elegant in a traditional saree with golden embroidered detailing.
According to reports, Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt chose to keep their wedding celebrations simple and private, with approximately 100 to 150 guests attending the ceremony. The couple reportedly finalised the guest list and menu themselves, ensuring the event remained an intimate affair surrounded by their loved ones.
Reports also suggest that the couple officially registered their marriage under the Special Marriage Act before hosting a private lunch for family members and close friends at their residence.
