In a display of grandeur and devotion, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant welcomed Lord Ganesha to their Mumbai residence, Antilia. The couple led the family in a special procession to mark the beginning of Ganesh Chaturthi.
August 27, 2025: The Ambani family has officially started their Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations with a big, religious welcome for Lord Ganesha at their home in Mumbai, Antilia. Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant were in charge of the celebrations. They were seen bringing the magnificently painted idol of Lord Ganesha into their home.
Pictures and videos of the parade, which was full of people chanting “Ganpati Bappa Morya,” have quickly spread on social media. Anant and Radhika were seen joining the procession with much excitement as the idol, which is lovingly known as “Antilia Cha Raja,” made its journey to its new home.
Mukesh and Nita Ambani and the rest of the family came together to do puja and ask for blessings. Little Prithvi Akash Ambani, Akash Ambani’s son, was also there for the happy occasion. He was seen happily sprinkling petals on the idol.
The family’s festive outfits were, as always, a highlight of the night. Radhika Merchant wore an embroidered shirt and palazzo trousers pair that mixed traditional and modern styles. She also wore a beautiful emerald necklace and diamond-studded bracelets. Nita Ambani looked quite elegant in a pink Bandhani print suit with a full-sleeved kurta and gold gota patti embroidery.
Anant Ambani wore a navy blue kurta-pyjama with a gold-embroidered Nehru jacket, and Mukesh Ambani wore a clean white kurta-pyjama. The men of the family also wore traditional clothes. Every year, Ganesh Chaturthi is a very memorable time for the Ambani family because their celebrations are the right mix of devotion, tradition, and grandeur.
