Filmmaker Atlee has shared his reaction to the much-awaited Ramayana Part 1 trailer, praising the film’s grandeur, visuals and performances. After getting an opportunity to watch the trailer ahead of its digital release, the Jawan director took to X (formerly Twitter) and described the upcoming epic as “magical.”

Atlee expressed his admiration for the vision of producer Namit Malhotra and director Nitesh Tiwari. Sharing his thoughts, he wrote, “Absolutely blown away by the #Ramayana trailer! What a vision by Namit Malhotra sir and what incredible craft from Nitesh Tiwari sir.”

The filmmaker also praised the performances of the film’s leading cast. Highlighting the impact of the actors, Atlee said that Yash looked “unbelievably lethal,” Ranbir Kapoor was “stunning,” and Sai Pallavi appeared “ethereal.” He added that every frame of the trailer felt “grand, fresh, and magical.”

Atlee further wished the entire team success and called the project an epic cinematic experience. His review has added to the growing excitement among fans who are eagerly waiting for the official digital launch of the trailer.

Ramayana Part 1 Trailer Release

The trailer of Ramayana Part 1 was unveiled at a grand event in Delhi on Saturday. While attendees at the event got an early glimpse, the trailer is scheduled to release digitally on July 24, 2026. Fans who watched the preview have already been sharing positive reactions on social media.

A short video claiming to be a leaked version of the trailer has also surfaced online. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding its authenticity, with speculation that the clip could either be footage from the actual trailer or an AI-generated video.

Ramayana Release Date and Cast

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana Part 1 is scheduled to release in theatres on Diwali 2026, while the second part is expected to arrive on Diwali 2027.

The film features an impressive ensemble cast, with Ranbir Kapoor portraying Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi playing Sita, and Yash appearing as Raavana. The cast also includes Ravi Dubey as Laxman, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, Rakul Preet Singh as Surpanakha and Kajal Aggarwal as Mandodari.

With its star-studded lineup, ambitious scale and Nitesh Tiwari’s direction, Ramayana has become one of the most anticipated Indian films.
