July 31, 2025: Jinger Duggar Vuolo and her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, are giving us an honest look into a very hard time in the early years of their marriage. The pair, who are getting close to their ninth wedding anniversary, talked of a time of “deep betrayal” that shocked them to their core on a recent episode of The Jinger and Jeremy Podcast.
Jeremy, who is 37 years old, said that the betrayal came from people he was close to and who he was delighted for Jinger, who is 31 years old, to meet. He made it clear that the treachery didn’t come from family; it was a tough time when they both felt “deeply unsettled.” Jinger said that the experience, even if it was hard, made their relationship stronger and their religion deeper. “It was great because it brought us closer together,” she remarked.

The pair said that a pastor’s advice helped them get through the tough time. “He said, ‘Jeremy, I think the Lord’s teaching you how to walk alone’,” Jeremy remembered that the message was about how they both relied on faith, not about how they were separated. He said that even though they have subsequently developed a great community in Los Angeles, those hard years were “necessary” for their progress.
The pair is thankful for the experience eight years later. Jeremy said, “We learned the most important things during that time.” They have been married since 2016 and have three kids: Felicity Nicole, Evangeline Jo, and Finnegan Charles.
