In a major theatrical reshuffle that has taken the trade by storm, Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn has officially confirmed the new release date for the highly anticipated comedy entertainer Dhamaal 4. Moving away from its previously scheduled July 17 slot, the multi-starrer comic caper is now locked to blast into cinemas on July 10, 2026. The shift promises audiences an incredibly chaotic, laugh-packed adventure centered around what the makers are calling “the craziest, most unstoppable treasure hunt yet.”
The abrupt calendar modification comes directly in the wake of another massive industry development. Yash Raj Films’ Spy Universe project Alpha starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari recently vacated its July 10 window by preponing its release to July 3 to ensure a solo launch.
Sensing a prime opportunity, the producers of Dhamaal 4 quickly seized the newly vacant July 10 frame. The strategic move sets up an unprecedented, back-to-back treat for moviegoers, completing a blockbuster four-week comedy and action pipeline that includes Cocktail 2 (June 19), Welcome to the Jungle (June 26), Alpha (July 3), and Dhamaal 4 (July 10).
The announcement follows the unveiling of a series of vibrant character posters that sent social media into a frenzy. One of the primary first-look posters features Ajay Devgn alongside veteran actor Sanjay Mishra hanging precariously from a rugged cliff face with the tagline: “Inn dono ka hai ek hi goal, to get their hands on gold.” Another quirky visual shows Arshad Warsi and Jaaved Jaaferi buried neck-deep in beach sand alongside Sanjeeda Shaikh, heavily leaning into the franchise’s trademark slapstick, visual humor.

Directed by veteran filmmaker Indra Kumar—who has successfully helmed every single iteration of the franchise since its 2007 inception—Dhamaal 4 is a direct sequel to the 2019 box-office smash Total Dhamaal. Produced by T-Series in collaboration with Devgn Films, Panorama Studios, and Maruti International, the massive ensemble cast features returning heavyweights Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Sanjay Mishra, and Jaaved Jaaferi alongside new additions Esha Gupta, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Anjali Anand, Upendra Limaye, Vijay Patkar, and Ravi Kishan.
Meanwhile, Devgn is leaving no stone unturned to dominate the late 2026 box office as well. Alongside his comedy preparations, reports confirm that his next major thriller milestone, Drishyam 3, has officially wrapped up its principal photography in record time. The highly anticipated suspense sequel has now smoothly transitioned into its intensive post-production phase and remains firmly on track for its grand theatrical rollout on October 2, 2026.
