The much-anticipated third instalment of the popular action franchise, Force 3, has officially gone on floors, with the first shooting schedule beginning in Gujarat. The film brings together actors John Abraham, Harshvardhan Rane and Tanya Maniktala for what promises to be an intense action thriller.
According to reports, the film commenced with a traditional muhurat ceremony, which was attended by John Abraham, marking the official start of production. However, the initial scenes of the first schedule are reportedly being filmed with Harshvardhan Rane and Tanya Maniktala, while John is expected to join the shoot for his portions later.
John Abraham Returns As ACP Yashvardhan Singh
John Abraham will once again reprise his role as ACP Yashvardhan Singh, the central character that has been a defining element of the franchise since its early days. Apart from acting, he is also backing the project as a producer under his banner JA Entertainment, in collaboration with Karolina Corporation led by Sheel Kumar.
Announcing the film on social media, John shared his excitement and confirmed the theatrical release date.
“When the unstoppable meets the immovable, a storm is born. The Force is coming! #Force3 releasing in cinemas on 19th March 2027,” he wrote.
Speaking about the project, John emphasised his long-standing emotional connection to the franchise.
“Force has always been a franchise I’ve believed in deeply. What makes it special for me is that it has a certain grit and a strong identity that audiences have connected with over the years. With Force 3, we’re taking that legacy forward in a big way,” he said.
Harshvardhan Rane Introduced As New Action Hero
One of the biggest highlights of the third instalment is the addition of Harshvardhan Rane to the franchise. John Abraham expressed confidence in Harshvardhan’s ability to deliver as an action hero.
“I’m also really excited to introduce Harsh as an action hero. He has the presence, the energy, and the hunger for it, and I think audiences are going to enjoy watching him in this space,” John added.
Harshvardhan Rane, who is stepping into a high-intensity action role, described the opportunity as a major milestone in his career.
“It’s an honour to be part of a film like Force 3, which gives me the chance to step into an intense, hardcore action space and bring that brute force alive on screen,” he said.
Tanya Maniktala Calls It A Big Career Moment
Actress Tanya Maniktala also shared her excitement about joining the franchise, describing the experience as both thrilling and significant.

She also hinted at the importance of her role in the film’s storyline.

Bhav Dhulia, known for directing the acclaimed Khakee: The Bihar Chapter, is helming the project. Sharing his thoughts on the film, the director revealed his immediate connection with the script.
