The makers of Haiwaan have unveiled Saif Ali Khan’s first-look posters, and they have already created a strong buzz among movie lovers. Directed by Priyadarshan, the upcoming thriller promises to showcase Saif in one of the most unconventional roles of his career. The actor is reportedly playing a visually challenged protagonist for the first time, with the posters hinting at a dark, emotional, and action-packed narrative that has left fans eager for more.

Speaking about the role, Saif Ali Khan described it as one of the most rewarding characters he has ever portrayed. Calling it a deeply sympathetic role, the actor revealed that the character combines vulnerability with courage, allowing him to portray an action hero despite the physical disability. Saif compared the role to the concept of a “blind samurai,” saying he was excited to bring an Indian interpretation of such a fearless and emotionally layered character to the big screen.

Known for taking risks with his film choices, Saif once again steps away from conventional Bollywood heroism in Haiwaan. Instead of relying on physical dominance, his character is expected to showcase resilience, intelligence, determination, and emotional strength. The thriller is set to present a refreshing take on heroism, with a protagonist who overcomes immense challenges while navigating a gripping mystery.

The film also features an exciting collaboration with Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, who will reportedly make a special cameo appearance. Saif recently praised the veteran actor, describing him as humble, charming, and incredibly meticulous in his performances. Their association has further heightened anticipation among fans, especially since Haiwaan is the Hindi adaptation of Priyadarshan’s acclaimed 2016 Malayalam thriller Oppam, which originally starred Mohanlal.
