In a new interview, the actor revealed his family forcefully medicated him and labeled him “mad,” but also claimed his superstar brother was “brainwashed” by others.
August 9,, 2025: Faisal Khan, the brother of Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, has made astonishing claims against his older brother in a frightening new interview. This has revived the long-running family rivalry. Faisal, an actor who is known for the movie Mela, says that Aamir had him locked up in his house for a year and gave him drugs against his will during that time.

Faisal, who now lives alone, talked about the traumatizing event and said that his family had accused him of being schizophrenic. “They told me I was crazy and had schizophrenia. He told Pinkvilla, “I can hurt society.” He said the situation was like a “chakravyuh,” or maze, where he felt stuck with his whole family against him.

Faisal added that during this time of being locked up, he had a bodyguard outside his room and couldn’t get in touch with his father for help because Aamir had confiscated his phone. “Main bahar nahi jaa sakta.” Bodyguard outside my room. He said, “Dawaiyan de rahe hain,” which means “I’m in a bad situation.”
In a strange turn of events, Faisal also said he thought other people had indoctrinated his brother. “I know Aamir.” He is a very nice person. He said, “Aamir can’t do this work and think this way,” which meant that Aamir wouldn’t have acted this way on his own.
The accusations show how troubled the brothers’ relationship has been, which has been the subject of public attention for years. For example, there was a very public judicial battle over Faisal’s custody in 2007.
