Marh 23, 2025: Pop star Justin Bieber recently opened up about his personal struggles with authenticity and self-growth, sharing candid thoughts with his fans on Instagram. The 31-year-old Grammy-winning artist posted a heartfelt video in which he expressed how difficult it is for him to remain authentic, admitting that he often hates himself when he feels like he’s not being true to who he really is.
In the video, Bieber, who was jamming on a keyboard with fellow musicians, appeared happy and energetic, but in the caption, he shared his vulnerability: “I think I hate myself sometimes when I feel myself start to become inauthentic. Then I remember we’re all being made to think we’re not enough, but I still hate when I change myself to please people.”
Earlier the same day, the ‘Believe’ singer also shared another personal post in which he spoke about his desire to work on his anger issues. He wrote, “I got anger issues too, but I wanna grow and not react so much. smh.” Accompanying this message, Bieber posted three pictures. The first showed him hiding his face under a hoodie, and the second was a childhood picture of himself.
This isn’t the first time Bieber has been open about his struggles. On March 13, he revealed feelings of self-doubt, stating, “People told me my whole life ‘wow, Justin, you deserve that,’ but I personally have always felt unworthy. Like I was a fraud.” He added, “How judgmental I am, how selfish I really am, they wouldn’t be saying this. I say all this to say, if you feel sneaky, welcome to the club. I definitely feel unequipped and unqualified most days.”
Justin Bieber continues to share his inner struggles and personal growth with his fans, offering a glimpse into the challenges of maintaining authenticity and managing emotions in the public eye.
