Producer Amit Jani, who is backing the upcoming film Kala Hiran, has claimed that he received a second death threat within 24 hours, prompting him to approach the police once again and seek immediate action. According to Jani, the latest threat came just hours after he had already filed a complaint regarding an earlier alleged threat.

Sharing details of his fresh complaint on social media platform X, Jani stated that an unidentified caller allegedly threatened to kill him within three days. The producer urged senior police officials and government authorities to register a case and arrest the person responsible for issuing the threat. He claimed that the second threat was received shortly after the first complaint had been lodged.
In the complaint submitted to Jodhpur Police, Jani alleged that the caller identified himself as a fan of Bollywood actor Salman Khan and warned him of serious consequences. The producer claimed that the threatening call was made late at night and that he had preserved a recording of the conversation as evidence. He further stated that he is currently staying in Jodhpur and expressed concern over receiving multiple threats within a short period.
Jani also linked the latest threat to an earlier complaint in which he alleged that he had received threatening calls and messages from an individual he described as a Pakistani-based figure. He claimed that he had already informed law enforcement agencies and relevant authorities about the matter and requested enhanced security measures.
The controversy comes amid the upcoming release of Kala Hiran, a film reportedly inspired by the blackbuck poaching case that involved actor Salman Khan. Jani has previously alleged that he has faced pressure regarding the film’s release, though these claims have not been independently verified. As of now, there has been no public response from Salman Khan or his representatives regarding the allegations made by the producer.
Authorities have not yet publicly commented on the latest complaint. Investigations are expected to determine the authenticity of the threats and identify those responsible. Meanwhile, Jani has reiterated his request for swift police action, citing concerns for his safety ahead of the film’s release.
