Actor-MP says Bollywood has crossed limits; complaint seeks ban on Nora–Sanjay track
March 17, 2026: Kangana Ranaut has weighed in on the controversy surrounding the song Sarke Chunar Teri Sarke, featuring Nora Fatehi and Sanjay Dutt. The track, from the upcoming film KD: The Devil, has faced backlash over its lyrics and choreography.
Reacting strongly, Kangana said the industry has crossed all limits of “vulgarity” and accused it of resorting to “cheap attention-seeking tactics.” Calling for stricter regulation, she added that there should be tighter control over such content in Bollywood.
Meanwhile, advocate Vineet Jindal has filed a complaint with the Delhi Police and the Central Board of Film Certification, seeking a ban on the song. He termed its lyrics “highly objectionable” and demanded its removal from social media platforms, calling the content obscene.
Following the growing backlash, the makers have reportedly made the song video private on YouTube. The controversy continues to spark debate around censorship and creative freedom in the entertainment industry.
