Kate Middleton returned to Wimbledon on Thursday, July 2, making a stylish appearance just days after completing the demanding National Three Peaks Challenge for charity.

The Princess of Wales arrived at the All England Club wearing a tailored blue pantsuit with her hair tied back in a ponytail, drawing warm applause from tennis fans.

Kate Middleton Meets Fans at Wimbledon

Kate began her visit by greeting tennis fans waiting in Wimbledon’s famous queue for tickets. She surprised several visitors by personally handing out tickets before meeting the club’s honorary stewards, who volunteer every year to manage the queue and welcome guests.

She also spent time with children from the Shine Camera Club, a photography program that supports youngsters from disadvantaged backgrounds.

A keen photographer herself, Kate joined the children as they captured moments from the tournament before watching a men’s singles second-round match.

Since 2016, Kate has served as patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, succeeding Queen Elizabeth II in the role.

Wimbledon also welcomed the princess with a special post on its official social media accounts.

Princess of Wales Completes National Three Peaks Challenge

Kate’s Wimbledon appearance came shortly after she completed the National Three Peaks Challenge, a demanding event that involves climbing the highest peaks in England, Scotland, and Wales within 24 hours.

The princess completed the 37-kilometre challenge to raise funds for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

Sharing her motivation on social media, Kate said she wanted to “explore life beyond diagnosis and to give something back.”

Kate Middleton’s Cancer Recovery

Kate revealed her cancer diagnosis in 2024 and began chemotherapy later that year. In January 2025, she announced that her cancer was in remission.

Explaining why the charity challenge was so meaningful, she said the Royal Marsden had played an important role in her own journey and that the fundraising effort would help improve holistic care and recovery services for cancer patients across the UK.
