The shoot schedule of King, starring Shah Rukh Khan, has reportedly been cancelled in Dubai due to rising tensions linked to the ongoing Iran–US War 2026.

According to reports, the film’s team had planned a week-long shooting schedule in Dubai starting April 9, which included major action sequences featuring Anil Kapoor and Suhana Khan. However, the makers decided to shift the shoot to Mumbai as a precautionary measure, prioritising safety amid the unstable regional situation.

Mumbai Replaces Dubai for Action Sequence

The production has now reportedly set up a large-scale set in Mumbai’s Vile Parle studio to replicate the planned desert action scenes. The sequence is said to include a high-intensity chase and combat segment, designed to maintain the scale and visual style originally envisioned for the Dubai schedule.

High-Profile Cast and Big Expectations

King features a star-studded ensemble including Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Deepika Padukone, Jaideep Ahlawat, and others. The film is directed by Siddharth Anand and is one of the most anticipated releases in Bollywood.
