The residence of Gurpartap Singh Kang, manager to Punjabi global superstar Diljit Dosanjh, became the center of a security scare in Karnal, Haryana, following viral social media reports of a firing incident.

On Wednesday, May 13, 2026, claims began circulating on social media platforms purportedly from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang taking responsibility for an alleged attack on Kang’s farmhouse in Gondar village. However, local police authorities have officially denied finding any physical evidence of a shooting, labeling the viral reports as unverified rumors.

Despite the police denial, the situation prompted a massive security response. Teams from the Nissing Police Station, the Special Task Force (STF), and the CIA were deployed to the Gondar-Dachar Road to inspect the premises. Nissing SHO Krishan Kumar confirmed that while a thorough search was conducted, officers found no bullet marks or shell casings. Furthermore, family members present at the farmhouse at the time of the alleged incident reportedly gave no statement and expressed total unawareness of any gunfire until the arrival of the police.

Viral Threat: “Third Warning” and “Austria-made” Weapons

The controversy gained significant traction due to a post shared by accounts allegedly linked to the Bishnoi syndicate. The post named individuals Tyson Bishnoi, Arzoo Bishnoi, and Harry Boxer as the perpetrators and claimed that “Austria-made” weapons were used in the assault. Describing the incident as a “third warning” to Diljit Dosanjh and his team, the message accused the management of misconduct during a recent international tour and threatened “further consequences” if their demands were not met.

While the police maintain that no crime occurred on-site, they are not taking the digital threats lightly. Authorities stated that they are investigating the authenticity of the social media accounts and the viral posts to determine if this is a case of targeted psychological intimidation or a coordinated hoax. As a precautionary measure, security has been permanently tightened around the farmhouse.

Diljit Dosanjh Addresses Tour Controversies

The timing of these threats coincides with Diljit’s ongoing Aura Tour overseas. The singer recently made headlines after pro-Khalistani flags were reportedly displayed outside his concert venue in Canada. Breaking his silence on Instagram, Diljit addressed the harassment of his fans by protesters. “If you try to come inside and harass my fans, that will not be tolerated,” he wrote in Punjabi, clarifying that while he respects fans showing their roots with banners, he will not stand for those using the same symbols to abuse concert-goers.

As Diljit continues his global tour, his security detail and management in India remain under high alert. The Karnal police have urged the public not to panic or spread unconfirmed news, emphasizing that the “firing” remains a digital claim rather than a physical reality at this stage.
