August 13, 2025: Hollywood superstar Leonardo DiCaprio had a brief run-in with Spanish police during a security check before entering an exclusive private party in Ibiza earlier this month.

The 50-year-old Oscar winner, who was arriving with his girlfriend, Vittoria Ceretti, and a group of friends, was stopped and searched as part of what was described as a standard security protocol for the event.

Viral videos from the scene show officers patting down the actor and inspecting his pockets. Leonardo, dressed in his signature cap, calmly complied with the officers’ instructions. In the video’s background, Vittoria can be heard saying, “They are searching me full on right now.”

According to a source who spoke to Page Six, Leonardo wasn’t singled out; every single person was patted down and required to show ID. The insider added that the police simply didn’t recognize him at first, but after a “double take,” he was cleared for entry.

The exclusive event was hosted by tequila brand Patrón and actor-singer Aron Piper. The guest list was reportedly star-studded, with attendees including Kendall Jenner and Leonardo’s longtime friend Tobey Maguire. Interestingly, rapper Travis Scott was reportedly denied entry to the same party.
