The upcoming episode of Netflix’s reality show Lock Upp 2 promises intense drama as contestant Akanksha Chaudhary locks horns with wildcard entrant Shilpa Shinde. A newly released promo shows Akanksha launching a sharp verbal attack on the actress, even taking a swipe at her Bigg Boss 11 victory by suggesting she won the reality show through household chores rather than strategy.
While the exact reason behind their confrontation is yet to be revealed, the promo captures Akanksha mocking Shilpa’s gameplay from her previous reality show. Referring to Shilpa’s memorable kitchen duties in Bigg Boss 11, Akanksha says, “Pichle show mein rotiyaan bailte bailte show jeete the, yahan rotiyaan bailne waala system nahi hai madam,” implying that the same approach would not work in Lock Upp 2.
Her remarks immediately sparked reactions from fellow contestants, including Harshad Chopda and Shivangi Joshi, who attempted to diffuse the situation by reminding Akanksha that Shilpa is a senior artist in the entertainment industry. However, Akanksha remained unfazed, responding that seniority held no importance for her and making another controversial remark, saying that people would understand certain things only after having children.
Contestant Yogesh Rawat also backed Akanksha during the heated exchange, dismissing the idea of respecting someone solely because of their seniority. He remarked that seniority meant nothing to him inside the game, further escalating tensions inside the Lock Upp 2 house. Shilpa, on the other hand, appeared unbothered and simply responded with a sarcastic, “So sad,” as the argument continued.
Meanwhile, Shilpa Shinde has also been making headlines for addressing the controversy surrounding her past sexual harassment allegations against Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain producer Sanjay Kohli. Following her entry into Lock Upp 2, the issue resurfaced, prompting the actress to defend her actions. Shilpa stated that she used every possible strategy available to fight her battle and insisted she had not misused the law but rather exercised her legal rights at a time when she felt she had no other option.
The actress further claimed that if Sanjay Kohli were truly innocent, he would not have approached her years later requesting her to return to the show. Maintaining that she would never falsely accuse a good person without reason, Shilpa reiterated that her actions were driven by circumstances and necessity.
