Akanksha Chamola continues to make emotional revelations inside Netflix’s Lock Upp, with the actress now opening up about her plans for life after her divorce from Gaurav Khanna. During a heartfelt conversation with fellow contestant Pamala Serena, Akanksha revealed that she has no intention of getting married again and is looking forward to embracing an independent life.
Reflecting on her past, Akanksha shared that she got married at a young age. “I married so young, you know. I was 24,” she said. When Pamala encouraged her by saying she was still young and could find love again, Akanksha firmly responded, “No, I don’t want to get married again. I think I am done.”
The actress also spoke about entering a completely new phase of her life. She revealed that, for the first time, she will be living on her own instead of staying with her parents or husband. “First time in my life main akeli rehne wali hoon. Not under my parents’ roof or my husband’s roof. I’ll have my own house,” she shared, expressing excitement about building a life independently.
Speaking about her future, Akanksha added that she is ready to embrace solitude and self-discovery. “I’m gonna ride solo for life,” she said, making it clear that she is focused on herself rather than seeking another relationship after her divorce.
Akanksha first confirmed her separation from Gaurav Khanna during the premiere episode of Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa. Introducing herself on the show, she revealed that the couple had been living separately for the past year and were in the process of getting divorced. She also clarified that the decision was mutual and that there was no bitterness between them, adding that they simply had different visions for the future.
Following her revelation, Gaurav Khanna also addressed the reports during a media interaction. Without directly commenting on their marital status, he expressed his continued support for Akanksha, saying, “Pyar abhi bhi utna hai. Support abhi bhi utna hai,” while wishing her the very best for her journey on Lock Upp.
