Television actor Harshad Chopda made one of the most emotional revelations of Lock Upp 2 during the latest Judgement Day episode. With Harshad, Yogesh Rawat, and Sufi Motiwala in the danger zone, Harshad became the first contestant to press the buzzer, securing his safety. As per the show’s format, he was then required to reveal one of the darkest secrets of his life.
Opening up about a painful chapter from his past, Harshad shared that he once attempted suicide after his first relationship ended. Recalling the incident, he said, “Pehle relationship tha… phone karke mujhe bataya gaya ki yahan hoon, ye kar rahi hoon, kiske saath hoon.” The actor admitted that he was overwhelmed by emotions and unable to process the heartbreak.
Describing that difficult phase, Harshad revealed, “Jo main feel kar raha tha, feel nahi karna chahta tha. Aur mujhe kuch bhi samajh nahi aaya, to maine apna haath kaat liya.” He shared that the incident took place shortly after he moved to Mumbai, when he was around 22–23 years old. It was his first serious relationship, and the breakup left him emotionally shattered.
Harshad further disclosed that he still carries the scar on his wrist as a reminder of that phase. He somehow managed to reach a hospital on his own, where doctors initially wanted to inform the police. “Bahut haath-pair jode, bahut minnatein ki. Uske baad akal aayi ki… uske baad I promised myself never to harm myself again,” he said, adding that the experience changed his outlook on life forever.
The actor also revealed that he had never spoken publicly about the incident before and that even his father was unaware of it because he was living alone in Mumbai at the time. His emotional confession left fellow contestants visibly moved, while jailers Riteish Deshmukh and Farah Khan urged viewers to seek help during difficult times and reminded everyone that self-harm is never the answer.
Harshad’s revelation ultimately secured his place in the competition, while Yogesh Rawat and Sufi Motiwala remained at risk of elimination. The upcoming episode of Lock Upp 2 will reveal which contestant’s journey comes to an end.
