A behind-the-scenes (BTS) video from the song Chand Dekh Lena in the upcoming film Maatrubhumi has gone viral, giving fans a glimpse into the making of the romantic track featuring Salman Khan and Chitrangda Singh.
BTS Video Delights Fans
Chitrangda Singh shared the BTS clip on social media, showcasing rehearsals and candid moments from the shoot. The video highlights the chemistry between the lead pair as they prepare for the song, which has already gained popularity since its release in March.
Song Blends Emotion And Tradition
Composed by Himesh Reshammiya, Chand Dekh Lena captures themes of love and longing. The song draws symbolic inspiration from the moon, connecting emotions associated with both Eid and Karwa Chauth—celebrations that represent togetherness, faith, and devotion.
Film Release Likely To Be Delayed
The film, which was earlier titled Battle of Galwan, was initially scheduled for an April 17 release. However, due to additional shooting requirements, the makers have postponed the release.
Reports suggest that the film could now hit theatres around May 15, although an official confirmation is still awaited.
Title Change Reflects Deeper Theme
Director Apoorva Lakhia revealed that the title change to Maatrubhumi was a conscious decision. While the earlier title focused on a specific battle, the new title reflects a broader narrative centered on humanity, sacrifice, and the emotional realities of soldiers.
Clash Avoided With Big Releases
The makers also considered releasing the film on Independence Day but reportedly stepped back to avoid a box office clash with Lahore 1947, backed by Aamir Khan and starring Sunny Deol.
Awaiting Official Announcement
While multiple release dates are being explored, the final schedule for Maatrubhumi is yet to be officially announced.
