March 1, 2025: Actress Millie Bobby Brown, best known for her iconic role as Eleven in Stranger Things, recently addressed the criticism regarding her new blonde hair, which some fans claimed made her look much older than her 21 years.

After attending the Los Angeles premiere of her new Netflix film, The Electric State, Brown shared a screenshot of an article titled “No One Cares How Old You Think Millie Bobby Brown Looks,” captioning it simply with “thank you,” in response to the backlash surrounding her appearance, as reported by People.

The criticism came after Brown posted photos from the event on Instagram, where some followers commented that her blonde hair and makeup made her appear much older. One user even wrote, “Why this makeup and this blonde hair? You’re so cute in your natural version! In the actual pic you’re a 40-year-old woman,” while another remarked, “She looks 45 pretending to be 22.”

Despite the negative comments, Brown responded with grace, showing that she was unfazed by the criticism.

The Stranger Things star has become a cultural icon since the debut of the hit Netflix series, which will be wrapping up with its emotional and powerful final season later this year. Fans are eagerly awaiting the fifth season, which promises to bring even greater challenges for the characters, building on the aftermath of the previous season’s intense battles.

At the premiere of The Electric State, Brown dazzled in a silver and gold floor-length gown paired with diamond earrings and a matching ring. She attended the event with her husband, Jake Bongiovi, who looked sharp in a black-and-white tuxedo.

The Electric State, a futuristic thriller set in a 1990s-inspired world, features Brown alongside a star-studded cast including Chris Pratt, Ke Huy Quan, Jason Alexander, Giancarlo Esposito, and Stanley Tucci.
