February 20, 2025: Olivia Munn recently revealed a traumatic experience she had on a film set, shedding light on a situation that led her to file complaints with the movie studio. The actress shared that the event was so severe that she was offered a seven-figure sum to accept an apology and sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). However, Munn made the bold decision to reject the offer.
Speaking on Monica Lewinsky’s podcast, Munn explained that the event occurred during the early stages of the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements, a time when people were becoming more aware of the sexual harassment and injustices occurring in Hollywood. She recalled feeling uncomfortable with the offer, which seemed to downplay the seriousness of the situation.

Munn admitted that, at the time, she feared speaking out would diminish the validity of her voice, especially given the media’s reaction to others who signed NDAs for financial compensation. Despite this, she chose not to accept the settlement, as she felt the offer was disrespectful. “I just felt it was so wrong,” she said, adding that she felt proud of herself for walking away from the situation.

This isn’t the first time Munn has spoken out about injustices in Hollywood. In 2018, she exposed an incident on the set of The Predator, where she successfully advocated for the removal of a scene involving a registered sex offender from the film.
Munn’s actions continue to inspire many, as she demonstrates the courage to stand up for herself and others in the face of powerful institutions, even when it comes at great personal cost.
