Actor and filmmaker Pooja Bhatt paid a heartfelt tribute to late actor Mukul Dev on his first death anniversary on May 23. Sharing a striking black-and-white portrait of the actor on social media, she expressed her love and remembrance through an emotional note.
Quoting poet Thomas Campbell, Pooja wrote, “To live in hearts we leave behind, is not to die.” She added, “I love you my friend.. Until we meet again.”

Mukul Dev, who passed away in 2025 at the age of 54, was known for his memorable performances in films like Dastak, Wajood, Kohram, Son of Sardaar and R… Rajkumar. He also worked extensively in television and music videos during the 1990s and early 2000s.
The actor was the younger brother of Rahul Dev, who had earlier shared details about Mukul’s health struggles and funeral arrangements following his demise in New Delhi.
Mukul Dev’s final project, Son of Sardaar 2, was completed shortly before his passing and is expected to remain a significant part of his legacy.
