New Single from Rajinikanth’s “Coolie” Unveiled. “Powerhouse” Features Thalaivar in Intense Action, Anirudh’s Music Wows Fans
July 23, 2025: Fans are going crazy about Superstar Rajinikanth new mystery thriller, Coolie, now that the third single, “Powerhouse” has come out.
The song was written and sung by the talented Anirudh Ravichander, with rapper Arivu adding vocals. It has rapidly captured the attention of listeners, especially because it features a startling “Breaking Bad” connection with the famous “Say My Name… You’re Goddamn Right” speech by Heisenberg (Walter White).
“Coolie,” which Lokesh Kanagaraj directed, will come out in theaters all around the world on August 14, 2025. The “Powerhouse” lyric video, which is 3 minutes and 28 seconds long, is different from the previous ones, “Chikitu” and “Monica,” because it shows some of the movie’s most intense action scenes, with Rajinikanth’s character Deva fighting hard against his enemies. The combination of the graphics and Anirudh’s high-energy music will give fans many thrills.

August 14th around the world.” The song was officially released during a big event in Hyderabad that was attended by Anirudh Ravichander and director Lokesh Kanagaraj.
The movie “Coolie” has a great cast, with Rajinikanth, Shruti Haasan, Nagarjuna, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, Sathyaraj, Reba Monica John, Junior MGR, Monisha Blessy, and Kaali Venkat all playing important roles. According to reports, the movie is about Deva, an old gangster who tries to bring back his old empire by using stolen technology hidden in ancient gold watches to get his old crew back together. The story is expected to look into the complicated parts of Deva’s history, his search for redemption, and the possible mayhem that could happen as he strives to get back to his former glory.
Director Lokesh Kanagaraj has said that “Coolie” is not part of his famed Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU), which includes movies like Kaithi, Vikram, and Leo. It is a separate production.
The movie will have to compete at the box office with Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR’s upcoming action thriller, War 2, which will also come out on August 14. “Coolie” is likely to do very well in the Tamil market, while “War 2” is likely to do very well in the Hindi and Telugu markets, thanks to Jr NTR’s huge fan base.
Along with “Coolie,” Rajinikanth has Jailer 2 in the works. It’s a sequel to his 2023 hit Jailer and will be directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. This sequel should come out in late 2025 or early 2026.
