Actor and dancer Raghav Juyal has addressed the viral video featuring him and Shehnaaz Gill that reignited speculation about their relationship. The clip, captured during Raghav’s birthday celebration, showed him shielding Shehnaaz from a crowd of fans and paparazzi as they exited the venue. The gesture quickly went viral, prompting renewed dating rumours surrounding the two actors, who have been linked since appearing together in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.
Speaking during the promotions of his upcoming film Bhai Tera Star Hai, Raghav explained that his actions were driven by the values he was raised with rather than any desire to create headlines. He said his parents taught him to stand up for and protect women, adding that he would do the same for any woman, friend, or family member in a similar situation.
“My parents raised me to be a man. If any woman is surrounded or feels unsafe, I will step in. I will protect my friends, my family, and any woman I’m with till my death. That’s simply my nature,” Raghav said, emphasizing that his reaction was instinctive and had nothing to do with public perception.
The actor also shared his thoughts on masculinity, saying he believes in balancing both sacred feminine and sacred masculine qualities. While he feels his dance, creativity, and artistic expression reflect feminine energy, he believes values such as protecting loved ones, respecting women, and standing up in difficult situations represent healthy masculinity instilled in him by his parents.
Raghav further stated that concerns about his celebrity image never influence his actions in such moments. According to him, he cannot remain a bystander if a woman is being harassed or feels uncomfortable, regardless of whether she is a friend, colleague, or stranger.
Meanwhile, Shehnaaz Gill also responded to the ongoing dating rumours during a recent interaction with the media. Politely declining to discuss her personal life, she referred to Raghav as a “very good friend” and urged fans to support his upcoming film Bhai Tera Star Hai. “No personal questions, please. My friend’s film is releasing, and I hope everyone supports it,” she said, reiterating their friendship while avoiding further comments on the speculation.
Although rumours continue to circulate on social media, neither Raghav Juyal nor Shehnaaz Gill has confirmed being in a relationship. Their latest statements suggest they prefer to keep the focus on their work rather than their personal lives.
