Riteish Deshmukh’s ambitious historical drama Raja Shivaji has officially made its digital debut, with the film now available for streaming on Netflix in both Hindi and Marathi. The film, which portrays the rise of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, has drawn significant attention from audiences interested in historical epics and Indian heritage storytelling.

Set in the 17th century, Raja Shivaji traces the inspiring journey of a young boy who grows into one of India’s most legendary warrior kings. The film highlights Shivaji Maharaj’s courage, strategic brilliance, and leadership, while also showcasing the influence of Rajmata Jijabai, whose guidance and values played a crucial role in shaping his vision of Hindu Swaraj.

He is currently co-hosting the second season of the reality series Lock Upp: Sacha Ya Sazaa, which begins streaming on June 27 on Netflix. He will also be seen in Indra Kumar’s Dhamaal 4, scheduled for a theatrical release on July 10, 2026.
