Rapper Raftaar has addressed a viral social media claim linking him to an abandoned bar, clarifying that the property featured in a content creator’s video never belonged to him. The musician stepped into the comments section after the reel falsely suggested that the deserted establishment was once owned by the popular rapper and had been abandoned overnight.
The viral video showed a dilapidated property bearing the name “Raftaar,” filled with broken furniture, scrap material, and debris. One of the most striking visuals featured a luxury car parked inside the premises in a severely damaged condition, with rust covering parts of its exterior, adding to the eerie atmosphere. The creator captioned the reel, “I explored India’s most famous abandoned rapper bar,” leading many viewers to believe it was connected to the artist.
The video soon caught Raftaar’s attention, prompting him to personally respond and correct the misinformation. Commenting on the post, the rapper wrote, “Am sorry but you are wrong brother. My club was in Dubai and named ICY.” His clarification quickly went viral, putting an end to the speculation surrounding the abandoned property.

After Raftaar’s response, the content creator acknowledged the mistake and apologised. Replying to the rapper, he thanked him for the clarification and admitted that he had assumed the property belonged to Raftaar because it carried the same name. He also described himself as a fan of the rapper and the iconic hip-hop collective Mafia Mundeer, ending his message on a positive note.
The exchange received praise from social media users, many appreciating Raftaar for politely correcting the false claim instead of reacting harshly. Others also commended the content creator for accepting his mistake and issuing an apology. At the same time, several users pointed out the importance of verifying facts before posting content online, especially when it involves public figures.
