Rose posted the home surveillance video on her Instagram Stories.

The footage shows her holding a garden hose while walking beside the pool. Moments later, she loses her balance, crashes into the side of the pool, and falls into the water. The clip was shared with the song “There She Goes” by The La’s.

Actor Says the Recovery Will Take Weeks
Before posting the video, Rose also updated fans on Threads about her condition.
She wrote:
“One second I’m here talking to you. Next I’m in the hospital with two broken ribs. What a bloody Monday!”
In another post, the actor admitted that the latest injury has left her in significant pain.
“I’ve just broken two ribs, falling into my own pool backwards, and you couldn’t pay me to put a bra on, let alone stand up. Send good book and show recommendations. This is going to take many weeks.”
Rose indicated that the recovery process is expected to take several weeks, bringing an early end to her summer plans.
Ruby Rose Compared the Injury to Her Batwoman Accident
The actor also reflected on a much more serious injury she suffered while filming Batwoman in 2019.
During a stunt, Rose sustained two herniated discs that nearly severed her spinal cord, forcing her to undergo emergency surgery.
She has previously revealed that she returned to filming just a day after breaking her rib and injuring her neck. According to Rose, she wore the Batwoman suit even when she had temporarily lost feeling in her arms and legs.
Past Allegations About Batwoman Working Conditions
Ruby Rose starred as the lead in Batwoman before leaving the series in 2020.
After her departure, she alleged that executives behind the CW series created a hostile and unsafe work environment. Rose claimed she was pressured to return to work just 10 days after undergoing surgery for a serious on-set injury.
Warner Bros., the parent company of The CW, denied those allegations.

Apart from Batwoman, Ruby Rose is known for several popular films and television projects.
