Bollywood superstar Salman Khan lashed out at the paparazzi on social media following a highly heated confrontation outside a Mumbai hospital.

The incident went viral online after a video surfaced showing a group of photographers stationed directly outside the hospital gates. As Salman made his way to his vehicle, the paparazzi began shouting the title of his upcoming movie, Maatrubhumi. The actor appeared visibly agitated by the untimely shouting and confronted the photographers directly, asking them point-blank, “Pagal ho kya?” (Are you wild?)

Salman Voices Anger Over Breach of Privacy

Following the confrontation, Salman took to his official Instagram account to post a raw, multi-part statement expressing his intense anger over the behavior of the press. He firmly called out the incident as an unacceptable breach of his personal privacy during a stressful time.

In his initial post, Salman voiced his deep frustration over the media allegedly attempting to exploit and “enjoy” his distress outside a medical facility. He reminded the press that he has spent decades supporting, interacting with, and standing by field journalists to ensure they could earn their livelihood.

───────────────────── ─────────────────────
• First Post • Stop exploiting personal pain for money
• Second Post • Critiques shouting movie titles at a hospital

Elaborating on his strong reaction, Salman made it clear in a follow-up post that shouting movie promotions in a hospital environment is completely uncall for. “Bhai bhai bhai matrabhumi picture ki maaa ki aankh, pic imp hai ya life,” he wrote, questioning whether a film project is genuinely more important than a human life.

He further urge the paparazzi to think about how they would feel if their own family members were undergoing a difficult situation in a hospital while being swarm by cameras.

A Strong Warning to the Paparazzi

In his final social media post of the evening, the actor issued a direct, uncompromising warning to the press. He stated that despite growing older, he has absolutely not forgotten how to fight for his boundaries.

“Saath saal ka ho gaya hoon lekin ladna nahiin bhoola yeh yaad rakh lena, jail mein dalo ge haaa haaa. (I’ve grown older, but I haven’t forgotten how to fight—remember that. You think you’ll put me in jail? Ha ha).” — Salman Khan on Instagram

The dramatic outburst comes only days after the Dabangg star posted a cryptic message about loneliness on Instagram. However, Salman explicitly clarify that his previous notes about being “alone and lonely” were strictly misinterpreted and were not a reflection of his actual personal life.

Upcoming Projects: Maatrubhumi and SVC63

On the professional front, Salman is balancing a couple of major high-profile projects:

  • Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace: Directed by Apoorva Lakhia and co-starring Chitrangada Singh, this intense war drama is heavily inspired by the real-life 2020 Galwan Valley clash. Originally titled Battle of Galwan, the film underwent extensive storyline revisions and a title change to focus more deeply on themes of human sacrifice. It is currently targeting a theatrical release.
  • SVC63: Salman recently kicked off the official shooting schedule for his next massive venture. Directed by acclaimed Telugu filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations, this high-octane pan-India action thriller marks Salman’s first on-screen collaboration with South superstar Nayanthara. The big-budget action entertainer has locked in a major release window for Eid.
