Shah Rukh Khan to Move Out of Mannat, Rents Luxury Apartment in Bandra for ₹24 Lakh Per Month
February 26, 2025: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is set to move out of his iconic Mannat bungalow for the first time in over 25 years. The actor, along with his wife Gauri Khan and children Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam, will relocate to a luxury apartment in Pali Hill, Bandra, while Mannat undergoes a major renovation.
The grand renovation of Mannat is set to begin in May 2025 and is expected to last for up to two years. The planned extension required court permissions since Mannat is a Grade III heritage structure, which means any structural modifications need legal approvals.
SRK has leased four floors in a luxury apartment complex in Pali Hill, owned by film producer Vashu Bhagnani’s family. The deal, facilitated by Red Chillies Entertainment, was signed with Bhagnani’s children, Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshika Deshmukh.

Given the immense fan following that Mannat attracts daily, extra safety and privacy measures are being planned for SRK’s temporary residence.
Although the lease is for three years, sources suggest the renovation may take up to two years, after which the Khan family will move back to Mannat.
This marks a historic moment for fans, as Mannat remains one of Bollywood’s most iconic celebrity homes, drawing thousands of visitors daily.
