SRK Passes On His Wit to Aryan, Calls the Series ‘Extremely Funny’ at Netflix Event
Mumbai, February 4: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan attended the ‘Next On Netflix’ event on Monday to officially unveil his son Aryan Khan’s debut directorial venture, ‘The BA*DS of Bollywood.’ In his signature humorous style, SRK joked about passing down his wit to Aryan, saying,
“Maine kaha jaa beta, baap ka naam roshan kar” (I told him, go make your father proud).
SRK Praises Aryan’s Work, Says He Loved the Episodes
During the event, the ‘Jawan’ actor expressed his excitement after watching a few episodes of the series and showered praise on the cast and crew.
“I just want to thank all the colleagues who participated in the series. They have done so well. I watched a few episodes, and it’s extremely funny. I love funny things. Mere jokes pe log bura maan jaate hain, takleef ho jaati hai. Maine jokes karna chod diya. Maine yeh virasat apne bete ko de diya. Maine kaha jaa beta, baap ka naam roshan kar,” said SRK, hinting at how he stopped making jokes due to controversies and instead passed on his humor to Aryan.
SRK’s Wish for His Kids in Bollywood
The ‘Pathaan’ star also got emotional while talking about his children’s journey in the entertainment industry. He expressed his hope that Aryan and Suhana Khan receive even a fraction of the love that he has been blessed with over the years.
“It is my prayer that even if they get 50 per cent of the love that I have received, then it will be a lot for them,” he said.

Dressed in an all-black ensemble, Shah Rukh Khan looked dashing in a black shirt, matching pants, and sunglasses. The actor was seen greeting fans and interacting with the media at the event, attended by Gauri Khan, Suhana Khan, and Aryan Khan.
