The much-awaited sequel of Farzi is officially in the works, bringing back Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi in their popular roles.
The announcement was made at Amazon Prime Video’s Mumbai event, confirming that Season 2 is “coming soon” and will stream on the same platform. While an exact release date hasn’t been revealed, the makers confirmed that filming has already begun.
Sharing his excitement, Shahid Kapoor said he had been waiting for two years to return as Sunny and described the new season as a “level up.”
The storyline will see Sunny diving deeper into the world of crime, while Michael continues his relentless fight against counterfeiting, setting up a high-stakes face-off that could shake India’s financial system.
Created by Raj & DK, the series also stars Kay Kay Menon, Raashi Khanna, and Bhuvan Arora. With shooting currently underway, the trailer is expected to drop later this year, further building anticipation among fans eagerly waiting for the next chapter.
