A fresh controversy has erupted on Lock Upp 2 after contestant Shreya Kalra made sensational claims involving actors Kushal Tandon and Shivangi Joshi. During a candid conversation with fellow contestant Shilpa Shinde, Shreya alleged that Kushal had messaged her on social media while he was reportedly dating Shivangi, adding that the actress later read their entire conversation to clear any misunderstanding.
The revelation came during the latest episode of the Netflix reality show, hosted by Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh. Recalling the incident, Shreya claimed it happened while she was shooting a promotional video for one of Shivangi Joshi’s television projects. Although she did not directly name Kushal Tandon, she mouthed his name during the conversation, leading fellow contestants to infer whom she was referring to.
According to Shreya, Kushal allegedly reached out to her through direct messages after the shoot. “He DM’d me after the shoot. I was dating someone at that time. There was something going on between Kushal Tandon and Shivangi Joshi, but I didn’t know about it,” she claimed. Shreya further stated that she decided not to continue the conversation because she felt something was not right.
Shreya went on to allege that she later met Shivangi Joshi on the set, where the actress mentioned the messages. “She told me, ‘He said you followed him and messaged him.’ I immediately said that I would never approach a man first,” Shreya claimed, denying that she had initiated any conversation with Kushal.
The reality show contestant further alleged that she voluntarily handed over her phone to Shivangi to avoid any misunderstanding. “I gave my phone to her. She read my whole chat. I didn’t flirt back and I didn’t say anything,” Shreya said. When Shilpa Shinde asked whether Shivangi became emotional after reading the messages, Shreya claimed that the actress cried after the shoot. She also alleged that a few months later, Kushal publicly announced his breakup through a social media post.
Shreya also revealed that she recently brought up Shivangi’s past relationship during their time inside Lock Upp 2. According to her, she tried to understand what had gone wrong between the couple, but Shivangi chose not to discuss the matter and changed the topic.
The claims have quickly gone viral on social media, triggering intense reactions from fans of both actors. While some viewers have questioned the timing of the allegations, others have urged people to wait for Kushal Tandon and Shivangi Joshi’s response before drawing conclusions. As of now, neither Kushal nor Shivangi has publicly reacted to Shreya Kalra’s allegations.
