Singer Jasmine Sandlas Announces Engagement, Introduces Fiancé During Delhi Concert

Punjabi singer and songwriter Jasmine Sandlas surprised fans by announcing her engagement during the opening night of her ‘The Dream Girl India Tour’ in New Delhi. The singer introduced her fiancé, Shekhar Chaudhary, on stage, making the special moment one of the highlights of the concert.

Videos from the event, which have since gone viral on social media, show Jasmine inviting Shekhar onto the stage before proudly displaying her engagement ring. Addressing the audience, she said, “This is the man who put a ring on it. This is my man, everybody!” before embracing him in a heartfelt hug.

The couple also shared a romantic dance to Jasmine’s popular song “Laavan,” drawing loud cheers from the audience. Before leaving the stage, Shekhar blew Jasmine a kiss, while the singer appeared visibly emotional during the celebration.

The Delhi performance, held at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, marked the beginning of Jasmine’s nationwide concert tour. She entertained fans with several of her biggest hits, including “Taras,” “Illegal Weapon,” “Laavan,” “Panjeba,” and “Sip Sip,” along with songs from Dhurandhar, such as “Shararat” and “Jaiye Sajana.”

As part of ‘The Dream Girl India Tour,’ Jasmine is scheduled to perform next in Mumbai on July 18, Bengaluru on July 25 and Chandigarh on August 29.

Born in Jalandhar, Punjab, and raised in Stockton, California, Jasmine Sandlas began her music career in 2007 with her debut single “Muskan.” She made her Bollywood playback debut in 2014 with the chart-topping song “Yaar Na Miley” from Salman Khan’s film Kick, earning widespread recognition for her distinctive voice.

Over the years, Jasmine has delivered several popular Punjabi and Bollywood tracks, including “Taras” from Munjya and songs from the Dhurandhar franchise, further cementing her place as one of the leading voices in contemporary Punjabi music.
